The job
We are looking for a CDP (or strong Junior Sous) to join the team at The Unruly Pig, the Estrella Damm's No1 Gastropub in the UK. You'll work in an established and stable brigade of 10 and show a real desire to progress. This is not a run-of-the-mill kitchen and the focus is to build upon the fantastic success that has already been achieved. You will have the chance to work all sections within the kitchen as we move people around regularly to strengthen their skill set and keep teamwork at the forefront. Input to the menus and specials is welcomed and supported. The food is modern in style with classical flavours and the kitchen very well equipped. You'll work a 4 day week with three days off, and tips are phenomenal
What you'll need
Experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within a food-led gastro-pub or similar
Passionate about food, drink, and hospitality
Experience of running service, leading and developing staff
Friendly, down to earth, attentive, but not overbearing
Exceptional service delivery standards
Full UK driving licence and transport, due to location

The Unruly Pig is in Bromeswell, just outside the market town of Woodbridge, Suffolk
What you'll receive
- £30,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
- Full time employment, working full time hours over 4 days per week
- 3 days off per week
- Tips equating to £7,000 - £9,000 per annum
- Opportunity for progression
- 28 days annual leave
