The restaurant has recently achieved 3AA rosettes and has undergone extensive renovations, including a state-of-the-art kitchen.

 

The job


As Senior Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in embracing the new direction of classic cuisine, running service in his absence in addition to offering creative input to menu development. The Angel Inn is a truly special place and the owners are ready to invest in the very best people to ensure it reaches its potential.

 

What you'll need


Proven experience as a Sous Chef with a passion and commitment to classic cuisine

Excellent culinary skills and a keen eye for detail.

Commitment to supporting the Head Chef in fostering an enjoyable working environment, with an emphasis on having fun whilst achieving your objectives

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.

 

Where you'll be based


The Angel Inn is based in the charming village of Stoke by Nayland in Suffolk, close to the Essex border, commutable from both Colchester and Ipswich

 

What you'll receive


- £38,000 - £40,000 per annum salary, plus excellent gratuities

- Full time employment working five days from seven 48 hours per week

- 28 days annual leave
